I bought one in Perham, MN for 2,700 in Dec 2007 but it was nearly restored. Another one in Perham is going for 2,500 and one in Bemidji for 2,500 sold last year. Another one in Perham is a Jubilee and they"re asking 3k with a finishing mower. I know of a 2N in Bemidji for 2100 so I"d think your Baudette range would be near 2500. I live in Bemidji but work in Baudette a couple days a month. Are they fishing the Rainy River yet?

Define: nedds electrical work.

Does that mean that she don't charge.. or is missing parts:

same for steering. Is the steeirng gear broke,, timed wrong.. or has lots of slop?

A few years back I replaced the coil, set points, etc. I also replaced some frayed wires. When things went back together and I used the tractor, I shut the key off and the tractor kept running! Been that way since. I replaced the stearing bearing, and same thing. Things didn't go back together as planned. Over steers to left, not very much to the right. I've owned the tractor for 10 years or so. It's never been restored from what I can tell. Just layers of paint.

steering more to one direction than the other means you did not get the steering sectors and the ballnut timed correctly. That's a simple matterr of pulling hte box cover and the sectors out a bit and retiming..

The electrics.. does it have an alternator? if so.. the #1 excite line may not have any ignition isolation in it.

Ditto what Tim said. Craigslist will also give you a good idea of what the "asking" market is.

Based on your general description, you should ask no more than $2500.

Whereabout in No Minn are you? I'm in the Twin Cities, but family is in Long Prairie.

Colin, MN

Hey Colin I was raised in Long Prairie. Our farm used to be where the school bus company is located. Small world. Left LP in 1959 to go in the Navy and never made it back.-Bill

Indeed a small world! Isensee Bus Company. Rode their buses 2 hours a day until I graduated. Both my parents grew up in Long Prairie as well ... I"ll have to ask them about your family place.

Drop me an email if you have time. vashtarbin at hotmail dot com

General idea if it is running, between $1500-3500 depending on a lot of variables.

Can you post a picture? We can then ask more questions to help narrow down a price for you, but like everything that is for sale, it will only be worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Look at the Photo Ads on this site to get an idea of what other 8N"s are being offered at, or post your tractor for sale there, as well.

Tim
