Did a 1969 Ford F100 twin I beam once. Had to use a little heat though. What we can't think of!!!!! David.

Sean..... ...remember you haffta go PAST straight 'cuz the metal with "bounce back" some when you remove the pressure.

BTW, Zane has posted his "straightening" technique several times. Its SIMILAR to yers ..... .Dell

As long as it works. I am going to do something similar or probably take them to work and invite the maint. guys to see if they can straighten them on our press. Not sure if it has the side openings but i bet it will work with enough rigging. I'll leave them bent before I go twisting with a 4' pipe wrench and come-along as some suggest.No way can that be good for the front axle, trumpet or anything else involved...
