Trying to help lady sell father in law tractor. Can you tell model and year from these numbers? Behind oil filter 9n251510 on head 9n6050/3 left rear axle 2n40155A2 right axle 2n4015A2 A/56 right rear hydraulic arm 9n 543 There is a 9n on head and a 2n on axle. Thanks in advance

Richard, It looks to be a 1946 2N with a Sherman overdrive = 6 forward gears and 2 reverses.That will help it sell better,you need to add that to the add listing.Even though its got 9N 9n251510 in the serial number its a 2N

Richard..... ...you can tell the lady that 9N251510 is the serial number for a 1946 2N. ALL 2N engines s/n start with 9N. The 2N was built from 1942 to 1947. It has a 3-speed tranny. 2N's in good running condition sell for about $2000 to $2500. Condition is more important on old tractors than year built..... ..Dell, the non-authority
