Praise the Lord, the pin is OUT! I went out to check on it this morning, and pumped the press jack a few more times until the punch I was using as a drift started to bow a little (yikes!), and then decided to hit it with some more heat. I put the flame on it for maybe 15 seconds, and there was a loud report (sounded like a rifle shot, and made me jump!), and the pin had finally broken loose. I had to press it all the way out, with the pin making a pop every four or five pumps on the jack.

Ed..... ...I'll bett'cha you install yer NEW pin with "anti-seize", eh? Clean-up inside yer axlepin hole with DRILL of appropriate diameter (rent one?) I know BIG DRILLS are expensive. or reamer. You can carry yer axle into a machineshop for drill and ream job. $10/hole. and treat the hole with rust killer of somekind that contains "phosphoric acid"..... ..Dell
