I have recently acquired (yesterday) this tractor. It starts and runs great. I can disc the pecan field great for approximately 1-Hour and the tractor starts loosing power and dies out. I have read the archives about run time issues and it points to the coil getting hot. Whats strange about this is, immediately after it dies I can remove the implement from the tractor and it starts and runs all day long. Obviously this happens when the tractor is hot, but I cannot understand why I can start the tractor and it runs great when the implement is removed. Could it be a strain on the engine from the hydraulics?

Your tractor is working harder pulling an implement thru the dirt than driving down the road with it in tow. Engine speed is not an indicator of the amount of work the engine is experiencing. Under a load, your engine will get up to full operation temperature, and be demanding more gas with the govenor opening the throttle plate more to maintain engine speed. Heat related, or fuel delivery issues will often times only surface under these conditions.

Fuel flow to the carb & coil are where I'd check first.

Sometimes if you put your hand on the connections and find a hot connection, tighten it up,and it will fix a problem like that.Wires get corroded and just dont work right. When they get hot the bolt or screw that holds them together stretches and breaks the connection,it cools off and tightens up.Lines are like that too, motor warms up and leaks oil or fuel but you can wash it off and start it up after it cools off and wont leak.Check your wire connections and make them clean and tight and maybe it will fix it.

Probably have one of those weird problems that may take some trouble shooting to find. Might be something in the fuel tank causeing problems or a fuel line getting hot causeing a vacuum problem. Or it could be a fuel tank getting hot and not venting as it should. I would carefully remove the gas cap and then try it. If it then works just fine then the tank vent is clogged up.

Old, I did think of the Fuel not venting or Vapor Lock and removed the gas cap. But why would it run great when the implement was removed?

It may have more to do with the time it takes you to remove the implement. While you're doing that, the proplem issue is "fixing" itself. (cooling down, etc) Have you tried simply waiting 5 or 10 minutes after it dies without removing the implement, and then trying it again?

I can lift the implement and drive the tractor with implement to the house (1/2 mile) immediately after it dies. The tractor will sputter and stall under a load after approximately 1-Hour of use. Can there be some relation to warm Hydraulics working the engine to hard? Rush :)

Hyds will not cause that type of problem because it that was the problem it would be there from the get go. I would try a new coil just for the heck of it and see if that helps, and or maybe pull the drain plug out of the bottom of the carb and make sure you have a good steay flow of gas
