That would be one way to get an accessible port for the water temp gauge...

Looks to be UPDRAFT carb, but the distributor takes as much room as a downdraft carb ever did... :-) chuckles... duey

Anything is possible & I bet you could do it. It will make for a pricey N and if you do a reverse transfer as well, a cheaper Packard & a tad underpowered, too. Need a stretched hood for the N.
