If the serial # is correct he probably has a 57 600 series. No emblem, repainted, el-cheapo bumper, new rear tires, non-tractor front tires, who knows what else? This guy seems to be very uninformed for a "book" guy. Amazing what some folks consider "orginal." "Well, it was that way when I got it..."

BTW I've been to his place before. If you like old musty, damp books, check it out.

Looks to me like the guy got the two pictures mixed up. I expect the bidders figured that out -?

For those who don't know, you can do a search of the sellers past auctions and see a pic of the other tractor that he sold.

I can pull a list of his current auctions, but how does one pull a list of a sellers past auctions?

Under "Search" - "Seller", click on the "All" button.

Doesn't look like a flat head engine, but the angle of the photo doesn't really show a darn thing. And with only one photo, and such a vague (and bogus) description, the fella clearly doesn't want to sell it. Off hand, I'd say it's probably an early hundred series.

He just sold a '52 8N for $5,000 with the same ole "found it in a barn" line. Folks who are into restoring old cars, especially Corvettes, have heard this "inflate the value" myth for years. Caveat Emptor!

That's a model 600N with the toolbox in back of the right foot rest. When ordering parts, specify 8NAA for part numbers. :-)
