What is the best shop manual for a 8N, and where to order? What is difference between service and parts manual? Do you need both? Thanks, Ace

WIth the parts manual and I&T you can deal with most problems. The parts manual helps you visualize how the parts fit together better thanthe I&T. I'd also recommend the N-Newsletter, as many back issues you can afford. I'm going to try the Jennsales manual, too.

I got the Master parts book a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed with all the parts break downs. I've found that the parts numbers all seem to match what the Ford/New Holland people come up with. I had mine along when I went to order parts last week and parts man borrowed it to find part numbers on hydraulic pump valves that he couldn't find on his system. You still need the service manual but the parts manual is sure helpful. It's well worth the money.
