Do we overload the hitches on our N's?

Happened to spend some time the other day wandering around a tractor junkyard. Lotta fun. But I noticed quite a few of the N's and Fergisons there had the center segments of their three points ripped out of the differential cases. Some completely, some only partially. Which got me wondering if we overload out beloved little tractors with things like booms and even bushhogs. Then add in the many times I've seen comments here about leaking pins on the lower arms of the three point.

I think I'm going to give a bit more thought to the things I hang onto that hitch in the future.
