I've got an 8N with a front end loader. I've seen a set of lights for them, but don't know where to mount them? Is there an after market light mounting brackets? My plan "B" is to mount them on the fenders, two beams lights to the front and one flood to the rear. Also are there mounting brackets if I have to go with plan "B"?

Lights and loaders are a troubling issue. Do you want lights to be seen by, or lights to work by?

For "working" lights, the best deal I've found is to mount them as high as you practically can at a point about a foot forward of the dash. If you have a loader style with a cross-member over that area, you can mount stalks off that cross member. The idea is to light the way ahead over a loaded bucket that's maybe a foot off the ground. Makes the tractor look like a snail - eyes up on stalks - but it works. For more refinement, you can add a worklight that's more directed onto/into the bucket, on a stalk attached to the loader arm - this is for working the bucket, and you should probably turn it off for transport.

That's what's worked the best for me. This is similar to the lighting rigging you will see on modern loaders - headlights and floodlights are mounted in the upper brow of the cab, to shine over the bucket.

The tail light/ worklight Brackets will fit on the front of the fenders. You have to swap sides, left rear to right front, right rear to left front ( brakets not fenders). If you've got both brackets they will bolt up without having to drill any holes. Hope this helps.

I have a N9 with a front loader. I have my lights mounted on the cross bar in front of the dash. I used bicycle Training wheel brackets, mounted them on, with U shaped brackets. Works great.
