Where do you mount the rear light on an 8N. I see that each fender has 2 knock-outs on them or is there a better place to mount the light? Where would the wiring be run from the rear light to the switch? Should a wire covering of some sort be used. Also, how is the hood removed. I took out the bolts on the hood by the steering wheel but still could not get it to move. Thanks for the help on my last question.

The link below has some excellent pics of a work light and rear taillight located on the fenders. These positions look most appropriate to me. Hell, everything looks most appropriate to me.

There are two bolts holding the bottom of the side panels to the frame. They must come out as well. You will then have to un-hook the gas line from the sedament bowl to the carb. The fuel tank comes away as well. You will then be able to take the whole assy.(hood, side panels, gas tank) off of your N.
good luck

p.s. Don't forget about your leadlight wires if you have them.

Two bolts lower hood sides. Pop open the grille, two pushnut fasteners, remove grille, remove radiator cap, Drain gas tank to make it lighter, Disconnect gas line. four bolts from dash. Two people preferably lift up, slid ahead to clear steering wheel, and take it away.
