Which one should I use? I've seen references to both is one better then the other?

I used the radio shack 10ohm 10watt resistor with no problems. It looks like a ceramic stick with a wire out each end, about 1\4" square by 2" long.

Two come in a package, you can have my extra if you can't find a radio shack nearby.

Delco recommends a 10 ohm 7 watt resistor. You can use Radio Shack 10 ohm 10 watt P Nr. 271-132. The idiot light and diode will work also. The resistor is probably easier to mount.
