I've had excellent results using epoxy. Make sure you use high temp permadex(or equiv) prior to applying the epoxy. The proceedure is in the archives.

It can be done. Sometimes. Sometimes not. Depends where the crack is and how bad. If it is an external crack and weeping some antifreeze go the JB Weld of epoxy route. I welded mine and the whole block spiderwebbed with cracks and had to be scrapped.

If you are not a pro welder, I would not attempt it.

That's my opinion based on my experience.

If it is a freeze crack on the outside I would clean it up good and grind it a little then use JB Weld or it's brother Permatex brand epoxy and not weld it at all.
