Posted awhile back about Dads Old '46 2N gauges. I got a few replies but I'm waiting for further contact from those that e-mailed me. I will ask again if anyone knows where I can get correct or authentic looking gauges for Dads Old 2N? I understand most of the replacement gauges found on the web or at the Dealers are not up to snuff. If some one knows of a dealer who still has some NOS or truely authentic looking replicas/reproductions I could use them. Heck! any one take their old ones off and put nice shiny lighted new ones on, I'll take your old used ones! Also can anyone tell me where I can get authentic looking front badges for the old gal? She still has the Ferguson system badge (but all the paint is gone), but the Ford badge with the 2N underneath is missing. Were both supposed to be blue, and what shade if so? All I can find at the Parts sites are Black background replacement cheapies. Thanks Ron(ore)

Ron-I am still waiting on the watchmaker to give me a price to work on guages. Maybe you should just move across the road from one and solve that problem.
As for the front badges, I too had lost the original Ford and still had the Ferguson original.
Bought one of the repacement badges, and got the black paint off w/goof-off. Then painted with Ford blue and sanded off the edges and logo; then sealed with a clear polyurethane. I learned this on this site and the badges sure are pretty. To find an original, I am sure for the right price, one is available.
