I had the same problem with my 47 8N. I changed the head gasket and it fixed the problem.

If the head gasket is seeping it will pump a small amount of oily looking stuff into the cooling system. This is not a problem with the operation of the tractor as long as water does not start to get in the crankcase oil and the engine does not run hot.To get most of the oily stuff out of the radiator simply overfill the radiator and it will come out first.

I'm currently rebuilding an 8N with this same problem. The machine shop I took the block to said it could be a crack in the oil journal. He is magnifluxing to see if there is a problem! The real problem is that I have been waiting over two weeks for him to get it done. Could this be a source of the oil or is he getting rich off me?
