I have trouble starting my 6v 9N in cold or wet
weather, starts ok in the summer,engine just spins
will not fire, has new plugs and points, any ideas. Thank you

If the reason it will not start is because the moisture on the distributor cap and the plugs and plug wires you can insulate them by spraying WD40 on everything that is outside that I just mentioned. Never spray it inside the cap because it will get on the points and ruin them for all time. You just can't get that stuff off points with any success.

I have a lot of old vehicles and when it is cold and wet some of them don't want to start. I just go get my trusty WD40 and point it at the ignition parts and it works every time.
