So you live in or near southern Maryland, and are looking for a way to show your tractor off and have kids patt it with their sticky hands are you?Well you're in luck! Sunday, June 4th, in Calvert County Maryland, at the Jefferson Patterson Park, from 11-5, they are having a Childrens Day Fair with stationary displays of tractors, a parade of tractors, and a slow race. It's free (to the best of my knowledge), and they are seeking people to bring their tractors and or equipment for the children to see and learn about. The park itself is quite pretty, being an old plantation on the Patuxent river. It's so pretty in fact, I got married there in the barn. Events at this part are typically pretty durn interesting. If you're interested in participating in this, you can call (410) 586-8502 and ask to speak to either Tim Thoman or Dawn Mask. I'd suggest speaking to Dawn, because she's cuter then Tim. But them I've been accused of being prejudiced on that, since she's my wife. :-) I have been informed that I *will* find a way to get my tractor down there to this show.
