When I back through some deep stuff with the right front wheel of my 8N, if I'm not hanging on to the wheel real tight it will spin all the way CCW to the stop. You wouldn't want to get your thumb in the way when it does it or you'd lay your thumb back against your wrist. It doesn't seem to do it if you get the left front wheel in the deep stuff. It kinda reminds me of my old CJ3 Jeep. Is this typical and a result of the type of steering system. I know 8N's were designed to plow frontwards mostly but if something is wrong I'd like to know about it. It's really nothing you can't live with if that's the nature of the beast but you'd better be alert. TNX in advance ----Norm

I have noticed that also. Must be the geometrics involved and the weight distribution. Seems to be when only when I have something heavy on the back (brush hog, cultivator) I always try to remember the leather gloves to save the hide on my hands. An aftermarket power steering concoction would probably take care of it.
