I bought this tractor and the owner said it was a 1948 2n or a 9n. According to what I read there was not a 1948 2n or 9n. This tractor has a Sherman tranny shifter on the side. Will be selling it soon, and need to know what it is. Thanks

Get the serial number from the left side of the engine at the top middle and then go to www.nseries.com to see what year/model tractor you have.
