I need to locate the correct way to mount the lift frame to the front of the 8n. I been using a bolt through the front center pin with a hanger but the bolt keep breaking 7/16 bolt. I made two bracket to mount under the radiator put the weight pull the front down in the fan. So if anybody has any factory mounts or the way it mounts would help. My 8n has been pushing snow and plow dirt fof 10yrs it time to rebuilt it and restore it.

Ron,

I just took a dearborn loader frame off my 8N. It was just the frame and nothing else. The front of the frame has three holes which line up with three holes in what looks like a factory installed (for lack of a better word) bracket. The piece is fairly beefy and connects to the front frame by way of the front bolts which connect the hood to the frame (it has 2 tacked on nuts which those two bolts go through), and two other bolts which go through front of the same frame piece. I left the piece on as it looks to be fairly useful for attaching other things. It does look like it would be fairly easy to fabricate. I am sorry I do not own a digital camera, or a polaroid. If you contact me offline I'll see about taking a picture of it and giving you a better idea of what it looks like.

Kevin
