Maybe one of you folks can help. Looking for a Hotter Spark plug for Oliver Tractor, Hotter Than an Autolite 388, just called Autolite and that is the highest in the application. Could maybe go extended tip but again that is all Autolite has. Another Brand better? This is obviously a stop gap for an engine using oil, just want it to burn cleaner. Thanks in advance.

If you install a pertronix ignition you can open your gap up to .045. helps alot on a oil burner

You might also be able to find some jump-spark connections that go between the end of the plug wire and the plug (or make some yourself)--the slight air gap makes the spark hotter and will cure the fouling or at least delay it, so you're not cleaning as often. Good luck.

Find a set of oil fouler's. If you don't know what I'm talking about there a thing that screws in to the spark plug holes and then the plugs screw into them. They have a small hole in the bottom of them and that helps keep the plugs from fouling out

Old is right, they work. My IH 400 would foul the plugs in 1/2 a day putting around doing loader work. Put in 4 non foulers and they have run for over a year. Got them at NAPA, $6 a pair. Chris
