My girlfriends father owns an old Oliver that looks a great deal like a 66 0r 77 but has a white grill and I believe white rims. What model could this be? It is a row crop typw with the narrow front wheels. I would like the chance to restore it but at the moment i don't have time, Oh well I guess we can't do everything we would like to do! Thanks for any help Adam Davis

my 1963 book shows oliver 660 with white grill that looks like S66 grill. grills on larger tractors are all redesigned. so that makes it a 660.

I'm with Paul on this one. Does it have a flat grill or a rounded one? If it is rounded grill and a domed nose, it is a mis-painted two digit model. If it is flat grill and a square nose it would be the right colors on a three digit model.

One step further is if the nose is round and the front of the frame is rounded it would be either a "x"0 or "x"7. If the front of the frame is flat with tapped holes it will be a Super "x"7.

Could have been re-painted with the wrong colours, or it may be a 660 or 770.
