I recently bought some carquest oliver green for my 1755 When I started painting I found it dried darker than the original stuff and kind of a duller color like pine needles. Was there two shades of oliver green? It's too late for the 1755 but I plan to paint my 1972 2255 soon and would like to get the correct shade. I seen some dura sheild paint that lists as new oliver green would this be right? The stuff from the agco dealer is always setteled out so bad. So i'd like to look else where. Thanks.

Also dont forget that the white on the wheels and grille, is Clover White. has a green tint to it.

I am using paint from the Agco dealer on my Super 55, it is working great but needs to be stirred good, after that it is fine. I had my S77 painted by a neighbor [who worked in a body shop], with Martin Senior paint. The tractor looks great but was expensive paint. I had a 1963 2255, best tractor of all the tractors I had. Go to the HPOCA web site to see a picture of it, note dual pipes. Delbert

Adam, three different shades of green were used on Oliver tractors over the years. The green used on your 1755 and 2255 is Meadow Green and the correct code is Martin Senour #99L-3751 or Dupont #5316
