Are the early White tractors more Minneapolis-Moline, or Oliver? Seems as tho parts were intermingled alot on the White tractors of the 70's. They all seemed the same except the paint.

All of the above: Oliver 1265 was the same as the MM G350, Cockshutt 1265 and WHite 1270, Oliver 1555 was the same as the MM G550, Oliver 1655 the same as the MM G750, and there was a few other cross branded models. In Field Boss, the 2-70 was essentially a revamped Ollie 1655. The 2-85 was essentially an updated Oliver 1750 with an 1850 engine. A few Minnie-Mo models were sold in Canada as WHites, as were Olivers. AGCO White is a different line of tractors, I think, than the old Oliver based line. They use Cummins as Case-IH does. But I see a lot of older Olivers having new Cummins installed which would make them first cousins of the AGCO WHites. just my 2 cents.

I would say more Oliver , due to simular/same transmissions/engines.

The original Oliver designs are still used today in some of the Agco(WHite) tractors.
