I think the after market rubbers cost over $100, but I have had luck going to salvage yards and finding useable ones for a fraction of the cost

Used ones that were Good?? I just figured they were all bad by now. They don't reproduce parts usually if they are available used in good shape. I would bet most used to be in just as bad a shape as mine or will be soon. I'm gonna check the agco idea posted in later post here. It's amazing sometimes the stuff you can still get for these old rigs. I was about ready to "bite the bullet" and get those $110 repros till I saw this.

G L Perry , Call Coryns farm supply , should Agco have higher prices. I mentioned coryns farm supply was an AGCO dealer. Not shure where they get the rubber torsion springs from. The number is in my reply for this post. My neighbor was just over. I asked him again about price. He says he thought the price he paid was around $60.00. He said maybe it was $68.00. But he was thinking $60.00 as we spoke today. Either way , if you can't find them near you , call Coryn Farm supply and have them shipped to your door. It's cheaper than $110.00 , no matter how you do it. I may buy a set for my "770" just to have around. Yet mine are still in exellent shape. Also , after buying your new ones , Please repost. Let us all know how you make out. Scott

Them rubber torsion springs use to be about $110.00. They have come down in price , believe it or not. If I have the figure right , My uncle just told me they were about $80.00 in his magazine. I have a neighbor who also just bought a set from a local agco dealer. I think he told me they were $68.00. These are big drops in price from $110.00. Especially in todays world. My neighbor bought his from Coryn Farm Supply , in Canadaigua , New York 14424. Telephone number is (585)394-0510. And I don't believe he needed to swap in his old hardware. I'm not shure about that.
