Found a 1365 Oliver tractor. Would like to buy it but it has 6000 hrs on it. Is this too many to fool with? Owner says it was still going strong when it had a wiring burn problem.

The fella is most likely telling the truth; 1250-A/1255/1265/1355/1365 engines routinely go 10 000 hours before their first rebuild.

Dsl is 200% right!!! That is probably the best Fiat version of the Olivers made. We have a 1365 that was bought new in '74, and it is still going strong with 6000 some hours on it. We have many tractors big and smaller than the 1365 (3-1850's, 4-Ford 5000's, ect., and I always use the 1365. It always starts no matter what the temperature is. The engine has a lot of torque for what it is too. I pull a full mount 4 bottom 16" plow with it. Like I said, you can't go wrong.
