Some locals for sale here in southern ontario all 2-85 all cabs. Excellent one owner new cab kit new clutch 4000 hr. $11000 [$8250us] good shape one 8000 hrs fair rubber condition average $8000[6000us] one at 10000 hrs fair shape done a pile of work$6500 [4750 us] one 2-105 good shape hours unknown at $7500 [5600]. Last auction ones I saw for 2-105 were a pair and your choice at $11500 [8650] and they headed state side. They were Quebec tractors so you would have to swear at them in french!

I recently bid on a clean 2-85 no cab at a farm auction. I stopped at $6K other bidder got it for $6100, probably a fair price. Be sure hydraulic pump/system is ok, parts are pricey.

Yes, these when in good condition, are excellent tractors. the perkins is a considerably better engine than the waukesha, while the rest of the tractor is very similar. the white cab is easier to see out of, and some people feel they are easier to get in and out of. usually the cab is quieter also. They have been known to sell anywhere from 4500 to 9500 depending on condition. I just dyno'ed a tired 2-85 at 90 horse. a healthy one should make around 105. a good 2-105 should make 120-125

I have only driven a rented 2-105 once or twice, but it didn't seem too bad. Only complaint was the cab was tight to get in/ out of, but wasn't bad. Never driven a 2-85 white, but I have seen them and they are very similar to the 1855/1850. Maybe a little lower horsepower than the 1855, but very close, may not even be able to tell too much. They both have the Perkins 354 in it, just turboed or not. From what I understand, these perkins do NOT have interchangable parts with the 1850 perkins. The 2-105 is around 105 HP., and from what I hear is a very depandable tractor. Can't help on the price.
