Can anybody tell me about the parts interchangeability between two Oliver crawlers. Will most parts between the OC-3 and the OC-4 fit? What is the difference between the two? Thanks

The OC-3 and OC-4 were two differently engineered machines, so many parts do not interchange. You will find that some of the undercarriage parts do, but the OC-4 tracks are two links longer to accomodate the 4th bottom roller. The OC-3 used a flathead 4 Hercules, while the OC-4 used a 3 cylinder OHV Hercules (with the exception of the first few models that used the leftover OC-3 motors). The OC-4 had a 4 speed (often w/ a reverser) and "spot turn" clutches, while the OC-3 was a 3 speed w/ band brakes. The OC-3 had no dash and a pan seat, while the OC-4 had a dash and a built in seat w/ arm rests. Hope that helps.
