Filler cap for hydraulic fluid on 1850 is underneath the operators seat . It is between bell shaped cover behind gear shift and seat . Bell shaped cover screws off and hydraulic filter is inside . Filler cap sort of pops off and should have a dip stick that indicates level of the hydraulic fluid . Use tractor/hydraulic fluid which meets Oliver Spec 55 . Remember the hydraulic fluid on this tractor runs steering , three point hitch and hydraulic remotes . The transmission and differential do not run in hydraulic fluid but have their own separate gear oil , 85 to 90 weight typically . On my 1850 you add gear oil through a plug at back left (facing the rear of the trac tor ) just to the left and sort of on top if of the rear/ pto cover . Filter for tranmission gear oil is screw on type ( exactly like filter for hydra drive and is located behind the left brake housing just in front of the left rear axle .
