HI everyone and Happy new year!!!
I may have a chance to get a Blackhawk 20
does anyone know how many were made or if they ever made any?? I have never seen one before this is a un Restored tractor , runs good and is not rusted at all Barn kept. and washed often , paint faided but there is the Blackhawk name on the side. I have seen 40's but never a 20 is this correct. I do know of the Deluxe version but those were cockshutt's.

Hi PANZERFAUST

The Cockshutt BLACK HAWK series of the model: 20, 35, 40, 50, and Golden Eagle were marketed in the USA for the 1956 model year and early 1957. These tractors are identical (except for the decals) to the DELUXE series that was marketed in Canada during the same period. After the BLACK HAWK series ended, the DELUXE series was marketed in the USA until the introduction of the 500 series in 1958.

There is no specific serial number run on the BLACK HAWK series. All the yellow hood tractors came off the line together and were decaled depending on the ship to destination.

I own serial #21001 which is the first BLACK HAWK 20/Cockshutt 20 DELUXE off the line. My dad bought this BLACK HAWK 20 tractor new. It arrived to Lebanon, PA at the Lebanon Valley Farm Bureau Association's Farm Machinery Dept. on a flat rail can in the Fall on 1955 wirh other BLACK HAWK (yellow hood) tractors.

The BLACK HAWK series tractors are few due to the short marketing time frame. In addition, many collectors decal their restored yellow hood models with the DELUXE decals because they look nicer and more complete on the tractor.

Please let me know when I can assist you further.
