I posted this earlier. I took the nut off the 3 point lever. The spring is fine. The friction disk appears to be there, although it is pretty hard to see because the cab gets in the way.
Is there any way to get the 3 point lever off without removing the cab?

I would do a test first before tearing into it anymore.stick a thick piece of rubber at least 1/4 inch, between the disc and tractor and reasemble.Try it to see if it will stay put.

It's doing better now. I cleaned up the nut and tightened it down almost as hard as I could pull by hand.
