My father bought one of the first No. 4 mounted pickers sold in our area, guessing 1948 or 49 and mounted it on our 70. The next year there were some upgrades for the picker that were to be added but Dad traded it on a new model and mounted it on our new 88 that we had bought that spring. I graduated in 1955 and stayed home a year before going to college and picked our corn with it that year. Don't have any interest in your machine but thought it would be an interesting story. Good luck selling it.

If it is the same one - I watched it on eBay but have the same problem: geting it to NY. Would love to have it, hate to see you scrap it but don't know how to economically get it to NY. I was watching the hualing schedule during the eBay auction but nobody has any room on loads up this way. At least not right now.

hey,
you can buy it and i will let it sit here for a while. i describe in the auction what i usually do for having stuff sit around the shop. 4 months is the longest that i will let stuff sit, as it just starts to pile up and take up space. so, if you want to buy it and let it sit for a little while, i can do that. the new auction number is 7520191489.
