You could double check the pressure to the PTO. It is the same as brake pressure so if your brakes work I would guess you are close. Did you take the cap off your PTO valve and see if the spool moved? I also remember a few of those valve getting rust in them and sticking. Is there grease in that cavity when you take the valve cap off? Have you unhooked the pin from the linkage and shifted the valve manually so you can feel it enter the correctposition? We also had a few we had to adjust the linkage on. With the tractor shut off and air pressure applied to the PTO pressure port can you turn the output shaft with a long pipe wrench and if so does the engine fan turn? Questions?

First thing I would do is check your rear end oil level. Lots of times the seal in the pto goes and all that valve is doing in essence is dumping oil into the rear end. Your rear end oil should be level with the top hole in your pto housing. As far as the temp. sensor they are the same, but I have instead replaced mine with a tranny temp. gauge that I put in my dash, alot more user friendly than that light. THe worst thing you can have with these closed center systems is too much heat.... GOod luck, Marc

that is the valve that I took apart and did not see any thing wrong with I had it packed full of good grease no rust or water and it has a good cap I put my pliers on the linkage and it berly moves past where the lever puls it and it did not mater Mark the rear end oil was higher than the plug but it might have been from what was left runing in out of the funel when I filled it did it the same time as the hydrolic oil the oil was milky then but cleen now I put air in the oil holes at the back of PTO and it held presher I will put the temp sensor in for now but would like to have a gauge that would be nise
I went to the salvage yard today and looked at a 17 or 1855 and a 2-150 ones that did not have the plat form and floor bords dont know witch but the Oliver did not have external 3pt cylenders The lines were all there and there was a box that the line from the pump goes to then to the PTO valve at the back could it be sometheng in there it would be under your left foot under the floor the 2-150 did not have that box but the lines were not quite where they were supost to be it looked like it had a T but not quite shere if it was the same line melted cab glass was in the way I was going to put a gauge on the hydrolic hookups but did not get time yet wont get back at it tell friday thanks

I looked into the shifter going to nutral holding the lever in on and moving the shifter It did not make any diferance
put air in the line frome the pump to the PTO valve and put a bar on the pto it would hold alitel but the whait of a long crobar was it in stop or on it would bubel in the hydrolic tank to I am thinking it is going to have to be checked out to see if the clutch is shot thanks
