My 770 has cast center rims on the rear stamped 161824A. What I think is odd is that they are 13 bolt. a regular 9 bolt pattern with 4 larger bolts in the pattern. Are these origional or from something else??? What do these centers weigh??? Thanks.....

The number 161 824A that is cast into the rear wheel is the part number for the casting. It was used on the later 770 tractors, however the wheel when used on the 770 did not have the four large holes. The same wheel with the same number was used with the nine small holes and the four larger holes on: 1550, 1650, 1750, 1850, 1950, 1950T, 2050 MFWD & 2150 Non Extra Heavy Duty MFWD tractors. Used on the 55 series as well. There should be plenty of the wheels in salvage yards, thus someone probably replaced pressed steel with these. The wheel is a H-38 on a build card.

I have seen the heavy hub used on early 770's when factory equipped with the hydra hitch {3pt}.

Well that depends. What is the serial number of your 770? If you have an early 770, the answer is no. If you have a late 770 probably. That type of bolt pattern was also used on 1650 tractors and maybe 1550 as well. I would need to look at one (1550) as I don't rememer). Also remember Oliver always had many options for tires and wheels. Sorry I don't have a more precise answer.J
