I have a TerraTrac GT-34 with a tired F140 although it should have an F162. Since the blocks are the same can I bore it out for the bigger F162 pistons or should I try to find the larger engine? What else can I do to give the old girl more power? Milling the head for more compression is out since it is a flathead. Can I install larger valves and open up the ports? Any other ideas?

I have a 162 I think, came out of a MH 30 tractor. The block is good but does need to be rebuilt. I also have a 227 6 cylinder that ran good the last time I fired it up. Maybe one of them would help you
