Well, they buried my dad today. His casket was sporting an "Oliver " sticker on the side. I think he would have liked it, seeing you could never get that oliver ball cap off his head.....

I am sorry for your loss...I too buried my dad last month on Jan 7th. We lost him unexpectedly. He had bought a tractor years ago which is now going to be mine. I think his plan was to restore it for fun. So I would like to pick up where he left off. Form me limited research it truns out he bought a lame duck ..a 1967 model 1250 Gas oliver. I want to try anyway so any help or advise anyone can offer on parts will be apprecaited..Thanks

You have my condolences as well. My Dad mercifully passed away August 24,54 weeks after having a massive stroke. He layed in a nursing home, mostly concious, but unable to speak or move. It was a blessing for him,but knowing that didn"t lessen the loss. I did get his 66 restored and paraded it in the Memorial Day parade before he had the stroke,so he got to see it finished. We asked the florist for an Oliver tractor on the centerpiece for the floral arrangement on the casket, but I guess she couldn"t find one,she used a Deere. Oh well,I kept it and have it in my collection. Again,my deepest sympathy,it gets easier with time.

Sorry about your loss. I like the Oliver sticker touch, it was a very nice touch. When we went through it with my father last year, we sent him along with his favorite hat and the antique tractor show directory.

Sorry for your loss. My dad will be 83 feb. 20. We know that he might of owned Oliver but I have a feeling he liked that red color. IH that is. He talks about the W30 and F20s we had as spares alot lately. I will have to listen better. Best to you and yours.
