Saw this at Florida Flywheelers annual show and was wondering what sort of crops needed this extra height? Were such high-crop packages available for Olivers, AC etc?

Thanks

The company put a couple of Olivers up on this chasis. I had a 770 LP on stilts and I also have a Fleetline 66 on stilts. That one is a real attention getter.

C'mon Doug - that picture burnt my eyes! Yes Oliver had a similar unit. There is a good picture of one in this years Iowa cornbelt oliver collectors calendar.

That is a spray rig. Notice the inverted tank saddles under the top rails? There were several aftermarket companies that made these for custom orders. I have a friend who bought one of these, equiped with an IH Super C. He removed the IH, and mounted a JD 40 in it's place, and painted it all the correct color. It is a real head-turner in the local parades. It is a little difficult to put on a trailer, though, because of the high center of gravity.
