A New OC-3 Owner with questions

Well, I bought a 1955 OC-3 42 with a well built homemade blade (modeled after Anderson)and it is now in my shed.

Some questions that I have now are:
Where do I get a cost effective button style oil fitting and/or gun? The model Landis carries is too pricey for me.

Anyone know where to find a complete aircleaner set-up? What is in there currently certainly doesn't belong there. . .

I checked the rear spockets after I got it home and yep - they are loose. I haven't dug in and examined them yet. . .but does anyone have some advice before I start wrenching?

Lastly, any other tips, things to check or pointers would be appreciated.

I've only been around wheel tractors all of my life, but I'm excited to play around with the crawler.

Thanks for all the replies. Yep, I've been on the Cletrac forum archive until my eyeballs fell out. Good info.

I have the "Instruction Manual & Parts Manual" Are there any other manuals? My 550 has a Service Manual.

You are right about that Andy Blackwood article. I have to dig through my archives. . .

Buttonhead fittings are not hard to find, as you discovered, it's the high volume-low pressure gun that's expensive.

Cletrac.org is the best source for info. You will spend hours digesting the info available that a SEARCH on any question will bring up. Check out the photo gallery too.

I have the manuals for the OC-3 if you need a page or 2 I can scan them for you. You would need to send me an e-mail for me to do that and just ask for the area your working on. Also Zimmermans sells parts and manuals for it thats where I got my manuals

Andy Blackwood did two articles on those tracks, rollers and sprockets a few issues back in HPOCA wasn't it? Or was it Oliver Heritage,I forget,HPOCA I think. If you don't have the issues, email becky@hartparroliver.org and she'll have them. They were pretty complete.
