415 Sickle mower sold today for $215. In rough shape, needed pittman arm, hydraulic lift, both wheels the bearings were shot, sickle knives rusted and dull, needed to be replaced. Talked to the guy that bought it, he is an Oliver collector. He knew he paid to much but I guess he really wanted it. Wide front for 880 sold for $150. An Oliver loader, model E1 ??? in very rough shape, no paint, all rusted, needs new hoses. Very poor shape sold for $200. This is the loader with the shield that extends down over the radiator. Anyone know what this would fit? I know I saw it in Oliver Heritage but don't remember what issue.

Yes he paid to much for it but that's how auctions go. That mower was one step from the scrap pile.

Was that a factory wide front for an 880 or not? That sickle brought too much money...funny how two guys can fight over something somedays.

It was a factory wide front for an 880. I was thinking of buying the sickle mower, if it would have gone for $25 or $30. The guy that bought it paid way too much but at least he is going to restore it and not send it to the scrap man. He has about 5 or 6 Oliver Tractors and some implements.
