77 has 2 1/2" axles 88 has 2 3/4" axles
tub, rearend, grill, hood, and dash are wider on a 88 compared to a 77. but drawbar and such have same mounting dimensions i believe.

I believe the 88 has larger axles. Some one on here should know the size.

The overall height is one way. The 88 has a higher hood. If you look at the side of the grill, down at the bottom rear of it,there is a lip where it curves under about two inches above the frame on the 88. That's the quickest way for me to tell if I see one on TV or something.
