Is the Floyd Co. Museum in Charles city Iowa worth the drive to go see. I would be within 4 hours of it. Thanks, 2-70

If you are that close you should go. Bring any serial numbers for your tractors along and look up the build cards while you are there and get copies of them. They also have manuals for sale if you need any you can buy them while you are there and thus save on shipping. Also they have some promotional videos for sale back when Oliver and White was still in business that are neat.

It depends what you are expecting to see. I like going there, its neat to see. I also take time to go out to the old plant site and Swartzrocks too to see whats on their lot. Basically if your looking for alot to do with Oliver and White, the museum has stuff there, but dont go expecting a whole lot. Its a county museum, and its gotta cover the whole county--its very nice. I've been there a couple times, and I enjoy it every time.

They have several Olivers and Hart-Parrs including a 30-60 and a Red Devil along with the XO-121 . I always drove out to the plant site also, was there a couple weeks ago and was shocked how overgrown with trees and brush it's become in the last couple years. I like to go there but am only about one hour away.
