Do you have a complete unit out of another 770? You must be going pulling? It is not rocket science to put one in.

well... wasn't sure if you had to move the engine of it's mounts, and I have heard of alignment issues, but I've since decided against it. I'll keep mine true to the build card. just turned 2400 hrs. I have others to play with....

You guys that say: " I ve heard"!. Yes the engine has to come out to install one. I started with the Power Booster program in 1960. I don't recall any alignment issues. However there is a tool to align the housing. A dial indicator would do in a pinch.

Assuming you have the complete unit, what else has to change? Input shaft to the trans? And is it the same set up on 880?

Well your leaving yourself open to a lot of discussion here. First of all the unit from the 880,is it for a spur gear or a helical gear transmission. Both shafts need to change from non power booster to power booster. Send me a phone number O. K.
