A freind of mine has aquired what appears to be a Worhtington Tractor based on a 1932 Ford with Model A type four cylinder engine and a two speed rear axle. It was commercally made and not a doddlebug. Does anyone know where we could find some information on this tractor?
Thanks in advance, Bob

I just dragged home a Worthington Red Seal tractor in original used condition , Mod # G-6 2615 with a Continental 4 cyl . It was headed for the scrap yard but seeing limited posts has me wondering if it's worth going through and restoring ? Anyone have any info to share ?

Thanks , C.

My cousin has a Worthington tractor with dual rear wheels and a Continental red seal flat head 4 cylinder engine. It is a G-6 # 2246. It pulls two set of gangs, (12”cut), behind it to cut the rough of the golf course he manages. It runs real good.
The only major problem is with the seat's shock and the coil spring also.
Does anyone have any idea what kind of shock and spring will fit it?
I have pictures and will be glad to send them to anyone interested.
Any info on it will be helpful. PS: This tractor has golf pedigree as it used to work the lawns at Rochester Country Club, probably from when Walter Hagen was pro there until just a couple years ago.

Dear Steve; I am restoring a worthington Chief with the 6cyl. chrysler eng. and am desperate to find out how the connection was made from the transmissoin to the differential. This is missing on mine. Would also like to know what years this nodel was made and what color it was. Thanks, Jim.

I have a Worthington Golf chief with the flat head 6cyl. Chrysler eng. and truck trans.and rear end. I have a very serious question; how was the tranny output connected to the differental? Mine has nothing there. It is not possible to use a drive shaft due to the large offset and short distance. Was there a countershaft? or a second gearbox? I am beginning restoration on this thing, but have been unable to find anyone who has seen one of these. I would also like to find out what the original color scheme was. Thanks for any help. Jim in Illinois.

I have a model B and just purchased a model C with 3 gang mowers. I am interested in what information you have.
