Seems like I remember reading that they eventually became part of John Deere's group. You might check their archives. Gene

Dave, If I remember right, The Dale & Martha Hawk Museum, in Wolford, ND, has a operating Hackney Auto Plow, in their collection, that they operate every year, at their show. Their contact is Lowell Johnson, 4440 78th St. NE, Wolford, ND 58385, 701-583-2381 or 701-583-2532. I hope my memory is correct, and I hope this information helps you. Ken

Did you ever reach Lowell Johnson? Lowell is very proud of our families heriloom he has at the museum. If we could be of any assistance to you- we have lots of information ourselves. We had a family reunion at the museum several years ago and many of us were able to attend.

The Hawk Museum also has a website. Do a search for "Hawk Museum North Dakota" and you should find it. And if you are in the area, it is definitely worth a visit. It's actually closer to Mylo, ND, than Wolford, but I don't think Mylo shows up on maps anymore.
