Never heard of a IH 475 up here in The Great White North. They are not on the list of what was built in Neuss either. Could have been made in Doncaster,or maybe South America or the Middle East or Asia. What does the serial# tag say?

They are rare in my area. Central US. Took a picture of it to refer back to someday. We call them foreigners. Can send the picture if anyone would like to see it.

I am only guessing, but I think the 475 was designed for the Canadian market. It is similar to the 454 US market tractor. The only ones I have seen had cabs on them, or at least they used to have cabs on them. Made in the early to mid 70s.

The 475 was built at doncaster in yorkshire,it shares the same perkins A4.212 engine as the MkII m.f.165 tractor.

Hi, As far as I know the International 475 was only built in the UK. Due to a Strike in the Engine Manufacturing Plant, Perkins 212 engines were installed instead of International's own engine.

I think there were only 2,015 475's ever made.
Because of this I'm having real trouble getting a Replacement Exhaust Manifold for my own 475.

Does anyone know where I might find an exhaust manifold for it ? Preferrably a new one, but failing that a 2nd. hand one in good condition. Rgds.,
