Very similar look, similar spec sheets, and priced identical. The Century is slightly heavier with a little more 3 pt lift capacity but the Mahindra has independant PTO. Mahindra may be a little more recogonized in Okla. but there also seems to be more Century dealers moving in lately. Finally, the Century FE loader looks much stronger.

Tractor will be used for mowing 5 acres (3 acres brush hog & 2 acres finish mowing), maintaining 800 ft of gravel road and misc dirt work.

I'm close to just flipping a coin...any last suggestions?

I looked at a Century 2028. Not a bad tractor, but the dealer didn't even know who made the engine.(Mitsubishi) was printed all over it. This concerned me that I knew more about the tractor than he did. My main concern would be parts, and I found a better deal on a Mahindra 3510. More horespower for less money. I love my Mahindra. Caraway Hay and Tractor in Sulphur Springs, Texas beat other dealers by as much as 1600.00 dollars. This tractor is great, and Mahindra is offering 24 months 0 interest. You can't beat that. Also a 2 or 3 year warranty depending on the size of the tractor.

My vote goes to the dealer with the best looking parts dept., and severice area in back. :) You do want live PTO, and live hydraulics, and the more gears in the trans., the better, expecially in the 1 to 4 mpr range!! Robert
