Anyone know anything about a small tractor built using a 4 cyl air-cooled Volkswagen engine? I saw one at a Volkswagen meet in Michigan a few years ago. It appeared to be factory built with a VW engine mounted under a metal hood in the front tied to a transmission, rear end and bull gear drive to the rear wheels. Don't remember seeing a name.

It was a Bungartz, T 5 or T 7, I believe.

PS.: The Constructor of the "Beetle" was Prof. Porsche, he also constructed a Tractor, first built at "Allgaier", later at the Porsche Tractor Plant in Friedrichshafen, Bodensee, They had aircooled Diesel-engines, and not Boxer, driven with Gasoline like the VW-cars.
