I'm trying to locate a used engine block or complete operational engine to fit a S650G (gas or diesel). One of my piston rod has let go thru the engine block. The motor I've been told is a Mazda PB1. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated. I located in southern Alberta, Canada.

I have a s650g that lost #4 exhaust valve it damaged the head, and piston but the block is untouched, I would sell the whole tractor for what you will probably have to pay for a block.
It has good rear tires , wheel extensions, rebuilt starter, hydro pump is good $500.00 come and get it southeast Ohio. if interested e-mail for more info and possible pic.

I think your advice to look for a Mazda block for your bison is right on. We just eplaced our distributor points with Mazda parts, and they work fine.

We also own the Satoh Stallion 750 D and were told a new water pump costs $800. When we asked for the price of a Mitsubishi woodsplitter (identcal) the price was $182
