I have a gas Long 4/25 tractor. I'm looking for a water pump or any information about this particular tractor. So far, I've run into a dead wall everywhere I turn. Any info at all would be appreciated. Thanks, Yvonne

Longtrac is made in Romania. Farmtrac is made in India. Landtrac is made in Korea. All offer great value for the money.

Aren't all of these still technically Long's? Just different hp ratings made in different parts of the world? My uncle has a 350 Long he bought new in the mid-70's man that has been one tough tractor. If I were buying new I would seriously consider a Long.

Tony, go to www.LongAgri.com and you should be able to find some information there. It depends on what model your tractor is, as to who built it.

Happy Tractoring, Ken

To the best of my knowledge, Long is only an importer of different small oversea manufacturers. I know a few models in their 45-70HP lineup is similar to Fiat but is manufactured in Romania.

Long Tractors were first built by UTB or universal tractor builders, manafactured in Romania. UTB built the same tractor for many companies including The Universal, Oliver, White,Fiat,& Long. I currently have A Universal 445, A Long 350, And A 2610 Long. All are basicaly the same tractor. "Also" Long is now manafactured in TARBORO, NORTH CAROLINA They are very good tractors. Dependable & inexpensive

Better check your info. You really think an American made tractor can be dependable and inexpensive at the same time. By the way Fiat helped the Roumanians with technology transfers to help them, not to buy tractors from them, Fiat has it's own manufacture and Universel is indeed Roumanian. Some Fiats were repainted as Whites, MM, Oliver and Allis-Chalmers in the late 70's and 80's.

I have a Long 445 and it has been a real workhorse. Even though it was made by UTB in Romania and distributed through LongAgri in Tarboro, it's been great. It was manufactured in the mid-70's and I purchased it 4 years (I'm the second owner). If you can get one - go for it.
