I can't believe no one has posted a CBT for 2 years. The shining star on mine is the 109 horse Mercedes. It is the smoothest on the farm. I need to find info on my PTO. Help! Mike Dodson

I got a simillar tractor it is a 8240 with a perkins engine and I have the same problem with the pto but it is very simple sistem first thing You got to check is the oil filter , You will find a line that comes from the bottom of the tractor and connects at the rear end of the tractor right beside the ON-OFF lever, it is a metal filter a lot of times it clogs up, just clean it up and try it . If that does not work You wil have to take the small housing were Your ON-OFF lever it is located above the PTO shaft, You will find a clutch packing and more likely They will have a lot of corrosion and all you need it is to clean up the whole thing. Let me know if this work for You, I owne my cbt since 1991 brand new.

Mike, I feel your pain, my grandfather bought a 2070 new, I think in the early 80's, my Dad and I put it back in use last year. It has the Perkins engine, and runs like a dream. I also need info on the PTO, this one is hydraulic, and pretty much useless. If I find any info anywhere, I will post it here to try and help you.

I don't know anything about the tractor but there are a few in use in our area, also Worley tractor salvage in Salem, IN had a couple that he would love to get rid of. He told me a year ago there was no demand for their parts.
